Perescuma

Perescuma Estate has an exceptional and differentiating "terroir" for the Alentejo region: soils are composed of 4 different profiles of complexity and unique identity which, as a whole, are a constant challenge for viticulture and oenology teams.

Located in Vendinha, municipality of Évora, Perescuma Estate has 543 ha, 37.9 ha of which are vineyards. First vineyards were planted in 1996. Currently, the waxing is mostly red varieties: Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Franca and Souzão. White varieties were recently planted: 6 ha of Verdelho, Viosinho, and Sauvignon Blanc. Endorsed with drip irrigation and planted according to strict criteria of modern technology, the vineyard is permanently monitored in order to ensure qualitative optimization to excell in the wine production.

In addition to wine production, Perescuma Estates pursues several agricultural activities such as livestock, olive grove and pine and cork forest.

Therefore, the technical orientation was adjusted and the plots were planted at 215º and 218º.
